For the woman who is waiting for something more than ordinary

Some mornings I sit outside on my patio with my coffee and just watch the backyard. The light comes through the trees the same way it did the day before.

Nothing about this morning is remarkable.

And yet…

I have been thinking lately about how much of my life I have spent waiting for the moments that felt worthy of paying attention to.
